Jobs
Summary
SciServer Compute Jobs provides batch processing of Jupyter Notebooks, or plain scripts, that can be executed in the background. Using the Interactive Compute tool, a user can develop a Jupyter Notebook to make sure the code and algorithm are working with small parameter ranges or small data sets. Using the Jobs tool, the user can then execute the Notebook for much larger ranges of parameters and/or datasets and have the results directly output to a location of their choosing – either a file location, or the relational MyDB/MyScratch storage areas.
Compute Jobs includes all the features of Interactive Compute, including filesystem support, API integration, programming languages, and software environments.
